Taking down the Christmas decorations

The village Christmas trees were taken down during th first week in January by Pete (Sparky) Allen and volunteers from the DCA Exec Committee. On Saturday, gloves and hats were the dress code when DCA member volunteers met in the Weston Centre car park to remove the lights from the trees before they were loaded into the Parish Council pick-up truck and taken for recycling by Brackenfield Alpacas.
