Sport and Leisure
There are several village based sports clubs:
Duffield Dynamos Football Club which provides opportunities for children and adults to enjoy playing football in a safe and enjoyable environment.
Duffield Cricket Club with senior, junior and social teams.
Duffield Squash Club and Racketball Club is a friendly members club with excellent squash and racketball facilities in addition to a well-equipped gym.
Duffield Tennis Club provides some of the best facilities in Derbyshire including seven all-weather courts which may be booked online, top-class coaching, a gym, excellent changing rooms with saunas, and a comfortable bar and lounge.
Chevin Golf Club welcomes new members and visitors
There is space for informal football or cricket and a children’s playground at Gray Rec. on Snake Lane, 7A.
We have a strong music representation with the Derwent Valley Wind Band, Duffield Singers Community Choir and Music @ Duffield.
There is also an art group, Scouts and Guides . The Massive Youth Club for 11-16 year olds is held at Emmanuel Christian Centre.
