CPR and DEFIBRILLATOR TRAINING
Saturday 18th October, 10:30am, in the Conservatory at Chevin Golf Club.
ALL WELCOME
(Young people can take part, but under 16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult)
This is a free event, but you must reserve a place via Ticketsource HERE
If it is fully subscribed, please add yourself to the waiting list as we will be organising another session

You are invited to come along and learn some basic life-saving skills  –  Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and familiarise yourself with the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
You will also learn about the work of the EMAS Community First Responder Group (CFR) covering Belper, Duffield and surrounding areas.
The outline of the session is:

  • Introduction
  • Heart attack v cardiac arrest
  • CPR when you would do it & how – adult and children
  • Use of a AED & how to access a community AED
  • Practical session – have a go at CPR on a manikin, look in detail at how an AED is used (using a training AED).
  • Q&A session to finish.

This is a free event for the residents of Duffield, organised by DUFFIELD COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION and delivered by EMAS First Responders.
