Duffield Community Association AGM – Wed 15th Feb, 7:30pm at The Weston Centre

The DCA AGM is scheduled is to be held on Wednesday 15th February at 7.30 pm at the Weston Centre.

Coffee, tea, biscuits provided.              The Weston Centre bar will be open.

DCA members and representatives of Affiliated Organisations are invited to attend. Come and find out what we have been doing and what’s planned for this year.

In 2022 Duffield Community Association (DCA) celebrated fifty years of enhancing village life. In all this time the DCA Constitution has not changed, however over the intervening time lifestyles have changed as has the profile of groups/organisations and the size of the village. The net result is that the DCA Constitution needs an update as it no longer reflects the reality.

The DCA Executive will in 2023 be reviewing; the constitution, the structure of the DCA and what the DCA does. This with the intent of drawing up a new constitution to present at a DCA Council meeting. The mission will be the same i.e., to enhance village life, but with a constitution that is ‘Fit for Purpose’ positioning the DCA for another fifty years of activity.
