Wrap up warm and bring secateurs. It shouldn’t take long!

[18:30, 07/01/2022] Nigel Hooker: the weather doesn’t sound very inviting, but we may get lucky and have a dry break. What we need to do should not take too long.

The priorities are to:
Strip the Chapel St corner of lights and decorations, take the tree down.
Take down the small tree from its bracket on Wirksworth corner, remove its lights.
Saw up these two trees so I can take them home in my car for bonfire. I will bring a couple of saws.
Take down the shooting star lights on the Wirksworth corner.
A less pressing priority will be to remove all the lights from the trees on Wirksworth corner.
I will bring some ladders and steps. If people have got secateurs for cutting cable ties (but mind those light cables!) that would be useful.
Come dressed warm!
If it gets too bad weather wise we will stop, I would like to get any ladder work out of the way as getting them onto my car takes a lot of faff!
